Rub the steaks well with a cut clove of garlic, sprinkle with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil. Place on a moderate to hot barbecue and barbecue 6-8 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
Good with a classic potato salad of boiled potatoes chunks, capers, sliced gherkins and chopped parsley dressed with a half and half mix of plain unsweetened yoghurt and mayonnaise.
